ReplyDeleteOn a not insignificant point of pedentary... the scores, as posted here and as calculated by the spreadsheet, are based on 3 points for a correct result. The competition rules, as laid out in your initial email (and dictated by tradition) hold that it should be 2 points for a correct result. Can we please have a definitive ruling on the scoring system before too many more games have been played?!

1pt for correct score of one team.
In other words, you guess 2-0 - and result is 2-1 - you get 4pts.
Or you guess 1-1 and score is 2-1 you get 1pt.
It's been the same scoring system for a number of years...
